Explore and Develop Parramatta is a family owned and operated centre owned by Irene Vidaic, the Centre is one of the most trusted and respected child care centres in the Parramatta district. Our Service has gained this reputation due to our dedicated team "We always go that extra mile for families and their children" Irene says. Irene decided to start the business because as a mother of two she understood how difficult it was to find adequate day care facilities for young children. "It's very important that children learn from an early age," she said. "Pre-school children will gain 90 per cent of their learning and growth and we use the right tools to get them started." Irene believes that the school readiness program and working with parents are the most important aspects of encouraging children's learning and growth. "Our preschool teachers are very dedicated to the children's needs and interests," she said. They will work with children who have learning difficulties and will work with the parents as well to get the kids up to speed. Teachers can even give parents literature information for their child to practice at home as well." Our Service caters for children from birth to 6 years, we operate three age appropriate playrooms, each stocked with resources to suit the developmental level and competence of the age group to which it caters. We pride ourselves on our emergent philosophy and program that are focused on children's interests and curiosities. Our staff have been trained in the new Early Years Learning Framework and use this base for their journals and developmental summaries. Our programs include individualised elements that ensure that every child receives the most customised care and learning opportunities.
